Appreciation in Outsourcing
If you’re a customer service representative, whether you’re in financial, healthcare, insurance, retail, transportation, communications, education, non-profits, government agencies, and other industries, you matter. And that is the gist of this important week.
Customer Service Week History
Customer Service Week is an international celebration that has been gaining momentum on the importance of customer service and the people who serve and provide support on a daily basis.
Other ways that Customer Service Week has gained traction are in the number of places it’s recognized. As of writing, all 50 states, 4 US territories, 60 countries worldwide, and over 100,000 frontline service reps celebrate this occasion!
How Pac Biz Cares
We believe that, when we care for others in our community, our lives become more enriched and fulfilled — this is especially true in our amazing agents.
Pac Biz, as part of its Core Values of Family and Compassion, has been caring about its employees and the communities they’re based in even before it knew about Customer Service Week.
Before the pandemic, Pac Biz has been holding annual outreach programs, donation drives, sports activities and more. During the pandemic, Pac Biz Corporate Culture Committee has done its best to soften the effects, making life in the community easier.
Our Dedication to Employee Engagement
From the very beginning Pac Biz showed the way it cared including through the many events it organized for its Philippine-based employees and their families like kid-friendly activities like Easter Egg hunts and other family events.
Welcome dinners for trainees who passed their training is a happy tradition of ours. Sports events with Pac Biz owner Eric and his wife Abby were another avenue for us to bond.
Sto. Niño Children’s Home Foundation
In 2018, Pac Biz started a dispatch program that was suggested by one of our agents. The Sto. Niño Children’s Home Foundation, a non-profit organization in Dumaguete, Philippines, was our 3rd outreach beneficiary where we provided the children toiletries, water tumblers, and our staff donated clothes and toys.
Our agents spent time with the kids with games and a talent show, and they shared their dreams and aspirations in life. The kids inspired us and our customer service reps. They reminded us that giving back to the Community is part of our Core Values.
March Workshop on Women Leadership
Pac Biz empowers our customer service reps and all our women employees. Karen, one of our senior managers, gave a talk on her experience being in a leadership role. Joining her, Kiezia, our Company Culture Director also shared her experience in Pac Biz.
Future iterations of how Pac Biz gives women a platform to speak and empower each other are ongoing and through Zoom with the theme of women leadership.
At Pac Biz, everyone is people-oriented. The personal growth that Pac Biz fosters is what the company is committed to accomplishing.
